Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 February 2026
Welcome to Tickeasy, operated by Tickeasy Pty Ltd (ABN 48 694 156 244) (“we”, “us”, “our”). Tickeasy is an online event ticketing platform that enables users to browse events and purchase tickets, and enables event organisers to create and manage events.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tickeasy platform, website, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, creating an account, or purchasing tickets through Tickeasy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Introduction
By using Tickeasy, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to:
- Visitors who browse the Tickeasy website
- Users who create an account
- Customers who purchase tickets through the platform
Separate Organisation Terms of Service apply to users who create or manage events as organisers.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using Tickeasy, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
Tickeasy may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Ticket Purchases
5.1 Platform Role
Tickeasy operates as a ticketing platform that facilitates the sale of tickets on behalf of event organisers. Tickeasy is not the organiser, promoter, host, or operator of events listed on the platform. When you purchase a ticket through Tickeasy, a binding contract is formed directly between you and the relevant event organiser. Tickeasy is not a party to that contract.
5.2 Orders and Payments
When placing an order through Tickeasy, you agree that:
- Ticket prices, availability, event descriptions, and refund policies are set by the event organiser
- Tickeasy may charge a clearly disclosed service fee in connection with ticket purchases
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers on behalf of the organiser
Tickeasy does not store full payment card details and is not responsible for payment processing failures outside its control.
5.3 Refunds, Cancellations, and Event Changes
Refunds, cancellations, postponements, or changes to events are determined by the event organiser and are subject to:
- The organiser's stated refund or cancellation policy
- Applicable Australian Consumer Law
Tickeasy does not provide refunds for change-of-mind purchases, except where required by law. Where a buyer-initiated cancellation or refund is approved in accordance with the organiser's stated policy, any refund will generally apply to the ticket price only and exclude Tickeasy's service fee (unless required by law).
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, the organiser is responsible for determining whether a refund, replacement ticket, credit, or other remedy is offered, subject to applicable law.
5.4 Chargebacks and Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Tickeasy may share relevant transaction information with payment providers and the event organiser in order to investigate the dispute. Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Event Changes and Cancellations
Events may be rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled by organisers. Tickeasy does not guarantee that events will take place as scheduled.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
8. Intellectual Property
All content and software on the Tickeasy platform are owned by or licensed to Tickeasy. You may not copy, modify, or distribute content without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tickeasy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Termination
Tickeasy may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable Australian consumer protection laws.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published at /terms with an updated "Last updated" date.
