Cognitive Rehabilitation: Assisting with CVA (Stroke) Conditions
The incident rate o Strokes (CVA) in Singapore is high. We bring to Singapore from Australia over 40 years of clinical experience in the functional rehabilitation of Stroke through Cognitive Rehabilitation
The incident rate of CVA or Strokes around the world is on the increase and this is not a condition specific to the older generation. In Singapore as well as in Australia, the average age of strokes is on the decline which means that we are now seeing people as young as in the 20s suffer from this condition.
Stroke recovery through Cognition is the vital link towards rehabilitation in addition to the well known traditional methods which includes strength and conditioning. Time and opportunity is of the essence and the functional applications often not known.
For the second time in 2026, the Brain & Cognition Clinic brings to Singapore, from Australia its extensive experience spanning 40 years in stroke rehabilitation through Cognitive applications that sees our patient regain function, mobility and relevance of the mind. We bring our cognitive strategies and applications to you in Singapore at a time when many need it most.
This workshop is relevant not only to those who are medically stable because of a stroke but also to their care givers who provide the daily task of support and assistance.
Conducted by the Brain & Cognition Clinic's Founder Ian Wee who is no stranger to functional stroke rehabilitation through cognition with his work spanning some 40+ years.
